Mr. Niruj Maneepun, Governor of State Railway of Thailand (SRT) together with Mr. Nava Chantanasurakon, President of Sahaviriya Steel Industries PLC, Mr. Kittisak Mapanao, President of West Coast Engineering Co., Ltd. and the management team visited the construction site at Na Phak Khuang station, Bangsaphan District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province around the switch and crossing areas and junction of Na Phak Khuang railway station which are SSI’s Distribution Hub Project (North) and SSI’s Logistic Terminal Project (South). Those projects can connect rail route transportation system to support Bangsaphan steel industries, reduce land transportation traffic problems and strengthen potential of continuing transportation systems (vehicle, vessel, and train) to the national industrial groups. In addition, they can support the establishment of distribution center, utilization of rail transportation system and Container Yard (CY) of Na Phak Khuang railway station which can lead to an expansion of economic system in the region and preparation of readiness to be the connecting gate of EEC & SEC of the country.
