Sahaviriya Steel Industries PLC or SSI represented by Mr. Nava Chantanasurakon, the President, together with the Welfare Committee, the executives and the employees received the National Outstanding Industrial Establishment Award in Labour Welfare/Relations Category for the 20th year, from Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, Deputy Minister of Labor at the meeting room, the 5th floor of Ministry of Labor on 1 September 2022. Ministry of Labor by Department of Labor Protection and Welfare arranged the presentation ceremony of Thailand Labour Management Excellence Award 2022 to the establishments which have international standard of labor management system for 2022. Objectives were to recognize those establishments which determined to manage labor systematically in 3 aspects: Thai labor standards, labor relations & welfare and safety, occupational health and environmental aspects, as well as to make the employers and the employees in those establishments have mutual pride and awareness of importance on participation on development of good quality of life of laborer, to cultivate social responsibility consciousness on labor aspect that they can be the role model of other establishments to further and better develop their organization.
