SSI receives 1st Runner Up Award at ASEAN Energy Awards 2023. Aims to Achieve Net Zero Emissions.

(middle) Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, Brunei Darussalam, at Bali, Indonesia. The ceremony was held by ASEAN Centre for Energy (AEC) and ASEAN Specialized Energy Bodies (SEBs), the awards seek to recognize the private sector’s efforts in energy management while encouraging greater cooperation in the region towards energy efficiency.

SSI recognizes the sustainable energy consumption and loss minimization. All activities during year 2020 to 2022 can be summarized as following; results in total energy saving 139 million MJ, cost saving 2.28 million USD or 1.84 % saving from total energy consumption during 2020 to 2022 and CO2 reduction total 13,438 tCO2e. The company aims to achieve net-zero emissions.
