The Company and Sahaviriya Steel Group provided Scholarships to local youth as follows 1) 7 continuous scholarships for bachelor’s degree students, worth 250,000 Baht; 2) 2 scholarships for vocational certificate and high vocational certificate, worth 22,000 Baht. From the follow-up on operating results of the project from 1999 up to present, there were 28 graduated students, 2 are working with the Company in engineering field; 6 are civil servants as teachers, 6 are civil servant in agricultural field, and 19 are working in private companies and the government employees.
