SSI Group in collaboration with Bangsaphan Fishery Network and Mae Rumphueng Sub-district Administration Organization arranged the 1st SSI Group Plogging Activity at Mae Rumphueng Beach on occasion of Thai Environment Day. This activity which conformed to BCG Model concept has been participated by more than 500 people in the plogging (jogging and garbage picking up) and cleaning activities at Mae Rumphueng Beach, which started from the multi-purpose yard in front of Mae Rumphueng Sub-district Administration Organization to Baan Pak Klong, Moo. 5 for total distance of approximately 6 kilometers (round trip). After this activity has finished, there were local bands on stage with booths selling products from the communities at the multi-purpose yard in front of Mae Rumphueng Sub-district Administration Organization.
This activity has been arranged to instill natural conservation consciousness to the public, the youth, the tourists, and the private sectors who operated businesses along Mae Rumphueng Beach. Mr. Lertyos Yamprai, Chief Bangsaphan District graciously presided over this activity.
