SSI Group strengthened public health of the communities by supplying a negative pressure to Bangsaphan Hospital

Sahaviriya Steel Group (SSI, TCRSS, TCS, WCE and BSBM), represented by Mr. Padungsak Pranudomrat, Assistant Vice President, Group Sustainable Development and Communications Office, Sahaviriya Steel Industries PLC, including the management team presented the negative pressure room in the In-Patient Building 2, Bangsaphan Hospital under the Save Bangsaphan Cooperation Project, to Dr. Cherdchai Chayawatto, Director of Bangsaphan Hospital. This room will be used as the separate room for treatment of the patients with respiratory diseases and for prevention of virus from spreading outside the room. It can enhance treatment potential and support for the patient as well as to increase safety to the team of doctors and the frontline personnel.

SSI Group operated the Save Bangsaphan Cooperation Project and supported budget for construction of 4 negative pressure rooms for Bangsphan Hospital. Earlier, SSI has supported budget for construction of negative pressure room to be used in the emergency room at the old Out Patient Building, the emergency room at the new Out Patient Building and the Dentistry Unit. Total support budget provided was more than 1 MB.
